Product Overview
IAI RCP2-C-SA6-I-PM-0 is a single-axis controller designed for a matching IAI RCP2-SA6 pulse motor electric actuator. It manages programmed positioning, movement speed, acceleration, deceleration, home-return operation and controller status according to stored position data and commands received from an upper-level PLC.
The complete model identifies an RCP2-C controller matched to an SA6 actuator configuration, incremental feedback, a pulse motor and a 24 VDC power specification. The controller should be selected by its full model code and the connected actuator nameplate rather than by enclosure appearance alone.

Compatible Systems and Applications
RCP2-C-SA6-I-PM-0 can be used in automated assembly stations, component-transfer equipment, packaging machinery, inspection fixtures, indexing mechanisms and production systems fitted with a compatible RCP2-SA6 actuator.
The machine PLC can select stored position numbers, issue movement commands and monitor controller status through parallel I/O. Actual travel, speed, payload and positioning performance depend on the connected actuator model, lead, stroke, installation direction and controller parameters.
Maintenance and Replacement Notes
Before removing the original controller, back up the position table, speed settings, acceleration and deceleration values, home-return settings and other operating parameters whenever communication remains available. Photograph the controller label, actuator nameplate and all terminal connections before disconnecting the unit.
The SA6, I, PM and 0 codes are configuration-specific. Do not replace this controller with an SA5, RSW, absolute-feedback or differently powered variant solely because the housing and connectors appear similar.
IAI identifies the RCP2-C controller family as a discontinued platform and lists PCON-CB as its successor direction. A conversion to a newer controller may require compatibility checks for the actuator, wiring, connectors, dimensions, parameters and teaching tools.
