Product Overview
The Schneider BMXAMI0800 is an eight-channel non-isolated high-level analog input module for the Modicon X80 automation platform. It provides higher channel density for machines and process systems requiring multiple standard current or voltage measurements.
The module supports 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA and positive or negative 10 V input signals. Its non-isolated architecture must be considered when designing field grounding, signal commons and cable shielding.
The BMXAMI0800 is suitable for compatible Modicon M340 and X80-based systems. It should not be treated as electrically identical to the isolated BMXAMI0810.

Compatible System and Applications
The BMXAMI0800 is suitable for process plants, water systems, production machinery, test equipment and automation panels requiring multiple current or voltage measurements.
It may be connected to compatible pressure, flow, level and other analog transmitters. Because the channels are non-isolated, grounding and signal-common design must be reviewed carefully.
Where field circuits have different ground potentials or greater isolation requirements, the BMXAMI0810 may be more appropriate, subject to complete project verification.
Maintenance and Replacement Notes
Do not substitute BMXAMI0800 and BMXAMI0810 based only on the eight-channel count. Their isolation architecture differs.
Record the existing slot, configured range for every channel, scaling, filtering, diagnostic settings, wiring and terminal-block model before replacement.
After installation, test each active channel and verify that the raw and scaled values match the connected field instruments.
