IAI RGW-CC-JP is a legacy CC-Link gateway controller for the modular IAI ROBONET system. It connects installed RACON and RPCON actuator-controller units to an upper-level CC-Link PLC and coordinates command, status and alarm communication for the ROBONET assembly.
This gateway is primarily required for maintenance of existing production machinery. It belongs to the earlier ROBONET generation and should not be confused with the newer RCON-GW series, even though both product families provide multi-axis actuator-network integration.

RGW-CC-JP can be found in older automated assembly equipment, transfer systems, packaging machinery, inspection stations and production fixtures using several RACON or RPCON-controlled actuators.
The gateway allows the machine PLC to send movement commands and receive completion, operating and alarm signals through CC-Link. The number and type of controlled axes depend on the installed ROBONET modules and actuator configuration.
IAI discontinued the ROBONET RGW platform in June 2022 and identifies RCON-GW as the successor direction. The newer RCON system has different dimensions, performance and operating patterns, so replacement must be treated as a system conversion rather than a direct gateway swap.
Before removing RGW-CC-JP, back up the gateway parameters and record the CC-Link station number, communication speed, PLC memory allocation, module addresses and controller sequence. Photograph the gateway, RACON and RPCON modules, power unit and all wiring.
Do not replace RGW-CC-JP with RGW-DV, another network version or an RCON-GW model without reviewing fieldbus wiring, controller compatibility, firmware, dimensions and the machine program. After replacement, verify communication with every installed controller unit and test each actuator axis individually.
Please provide photographs of the complete RGW-CC-JP label, ROBONET module assembly, connected actuator controllers and CC-Link terminals when requesting a quotation. Product condition, included connectors, parameter backup, warranty and delivery time should be confirmed before purchase.
