Product Overview
IAI RCON-PCF-1 is a single-axis high-thrust pulse motor driver unit for the modular IAI RCON controller system. It is designed to operate a matching IAI high-thrust electric actuator together with an RCON gateway, power-supply arrangement and other compatible controller modules.
The PCF configuration is intended for applications requiring increased actuator force while retaining the compact construction and centralized communication functions of the RCON platform. Correct actuator matching is essential because this driver differs from standard RCON pulse motor and servo motor driver units.

Compatible Systems and Applications
RCON-PCF-1 can be used in press-fitting equipment, lifting mechanisms, clamping stations, component-insertion machinery, automated assembly systems and other applications requiring a compatible high-thrust actuator.
The communication interface available to the machine PLC depends on the gateway installed in the RCON system. Position commands, status information and diagnostic data are processed according to the gateway, controller parameters and machine program.
Maintenance and Replacement Notes
RCON-PCF-1 should not be confused with RCON-PC-1, RCON-PC-2 or RCON-SC driver units. The PCF designation represents a specific high-thrust pulse motor configuration, and a standard pulse motor driver may not support the same actuator or force requirement.
Before replacement, verify the complete actuator model, motor type, driver rating, module position, gateway model, firmware and parameter data. Back up position information, pressing settings and gateway configuration whenever possible.
After installation, confirm axis recognition, actuator direction, home-return operation, stroke limits, pressing settings and machine safety interlocks before returning the equipment to production.
