Product Overview
The Dynisco TPT463E-15M-6/18 is a high-range combined melt-pressure and temperature model with a nominal full-scale pressure of 15,000 psi. It provides a 3.33 mV/V pressure output and a removable Type J thermocouple for applications requiring two process measurements at one mounting point.
Its rigid-stem and flexible-capillary arrangement is intended for high-temperature polymer machinery where the electrical housing must be positioned away from the process connection. The high pressure range makes exact confirmation particularly important because replacing it with a lower-range model can result in overload or incorrect control-system scaling.

High-Pressure Application Considerations
The connected indicator, PLC input or pressure controller must be scaled for the 15,000 psi range. Mechanical mounting torque, mounting-hole condition, diaphragm clearance and process-pressure peaks should be reviewed before installation. A damaged or incorrectly machined mounting hole can affect the diaphragm and measurement performance.
